Child obesity is one of the major problems in our society. We nurture a misconception that a healthy figure means healthy baby.

We don’t realize that being overweight can affect their internal health. Make sure that your child is fit or healthy without having excessive weight.

  • Make a habit of eating lots of fruits & vegetables.
  • They need calcium but not fat, so switch to skimmed milk.
  • Encourage them to participate in sports rather than watching television.
  • Teach them to eat according to their hunger & there is no need to follow a pre defined routine.
  • Don’t comment on their figure or look.
  • Inspire them to participate in different sporting and extracurricular activities.
  • Balance diet is very important to maintain proper body weight. Diet should be a good combination of carbohydrates & protein.
  • Do not give them juice that contains sugar it will supply extra calories to your child.
  • Add the foods full of fibres in your child diet menu,  it will control the bold sugar level of your children.
  • Encourage them to eat fresh vegetable & original fruit juices.
  • Try to make a habit of enjoying healthy food most of the time & having little fried or oily food.
