Disorganized Patches Suggest Prenatal Origin Of Autism

Researchers have found evidence, which suggests that autism might have prenatal roots, seconding theories, which were believed earlier. A study by a team of medical practitioners has successfully revealed the prenatal origins of autism and its’ possible detection before birth even.

The study, which was conducted on a number of post mortem brain tissues of children, within the age group of 2-15 years of age, was analyzed by eminent doctors.

The revelations showed that the brain of autistic children in the group had a different kind of setup and neuron framework. The markers for the cortex layers, which were present in the normal children, were absent in the brains of autistic children.

The study indicated that about 91% autistic children had brains that were different and hence their problem could be predicted much in advance after birth. The team of researchers seemed satisfied with their analysis and the results are in contradiction to the theories believed so far. The belief that autism is associated with faulty development of the brain over the course of one’s growth is strongly challenged by this revelation.

Thus, proper research needs to be done in this matter and only then a proper conclusion can be arrived at.
