Abdominal pain and other Abdominal discomforts are common during pregnancy. It is usually harmless but sometimes it can be a sign of serious problem. The severe and the continuous pain should not be ignored.
If the Abdominal pain is experienced along with the spotting, discharge of Blood, Fever, sweating, Vaginal discharge, faintness, vomiting, Nausea or discomfort while Urinating consult a doctor as soon as possible. These can be signs of danger.

Ectopic Pregnancy
An Ectopic Pregnancy is diagnosed when a fertilized Egg is set outside the Uterus. It is mostly found in the 1 of the Fallopian Tubes. This condition can also cause Abdominal pain and other suspicious symptoms in the early pregnancy.
If Ectopic Pregnancy is not treated in time, it can lead to life threatening conditions. If you are suffering from this condition, immediately consult your doctor.

- Increase in Vaginal discharge
- Change in the kind of discharge like Watery, Mucus-like, Bloody or Pink discharge etc.

It is the condition, in which the Placenta is completely or partially separated from the Uterus before the birth of baby. It is a life-threatening condition.

After mid-pregnancy, many women feel tightening in Uterus after short intervals. These contractions occur infrequently and at irregular intervals. If you feel lower back pain, more than 4 contractions per hour or any other symptoms of premature labor, immediately consult your doctor.
If your due date is near, cramping can be a sign of labor.
Tips for Treating Abdominal Pain
Here are few useful tips that are good for Abdominal pain
- Walk slowly for at least 10 minutes.
- Do some easy exercise.
- Take bath with warm Water.
- Bend your back for at least 5 minutes; it will give you relief from pain.
- Drink warm Water.
Abdominal pain is common with or without pregnancy. Proper treatment should be taken in order to take relief from pain.
